Young man hit by bike rider

On Thursday morning, a bike rider hit a young man at Gauravgarh Chowk in Supaul, the said young man died in this accident. After which the victim’s family started mourning along with the dead body on the road itself. The protesters started demanding compensation for the victim’s family. Supaul Sadar Police Station Head Arun Kumar, who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, pacified the people and ended the jam.
The road remained blocked for about two hours during the demonstration. Meanwhile, a long queue of vehicles formed on the road. The pedestrians also had to face problems. The deceased has been identified as Vikas Kumar Yadav, 26 years old, son of late Chhutharu Yadav, resident of Gauravgarh Ward 6 of Supaul Sadar police station area. The deceased used to work as a laborer and support his family.
Jai Prakash Yadav, elder brother of the deceased, told that at around 8 am on Thursday morning, as usual, he was going from home to Degree College Chowk to work as a labourer. While walking on the way near Gauravgarh intersection, an unknown bike rider hit him hard and fled from the spot. By the time the local people could take the injured youth to the hospital, he died on the spot.
Police gave information
Here, people angry over the death blocked Pipra Supaul main road to Gauravgarh Chowk and started demanding action against the unknown vehicle and compensation to the victim’s family. Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased were seen mourning on the road and demanded action from the administration. On the other hand, Supaul Sadar Police Station Head Arun Kumar said that a laborer has died in a road accident. People have been assured of appropriate legal action and compensation. Necessary action is being taken after taking possession of the dead body.
